Lightweight plastic resin with a Stainless steel gold plated nib
The pen sports tha Kaweco Sport on the cap with a gold medallion with the Kaweco logo on the end of the cap. The cap screws on tightly and the barell is octagonal shapped to prevent rolling off your desk and damaging the nib. The pen when capped appears short at 4 3/16" but when the cap is removed and posted, the pen extends to 5 1/4" for writing.
The pen takes standard cartridges (one included) as well as the Kaweco mini convertor. (sold separately) The pen does not come with a clip but one can be had for a minimal amount and comes in chrome and gold tone (to match the nib)
