The Waterman Edson fountain pen in Blue Sapphire features a translucent sapphire blue resin body, complemented by a matte gold plated cap and an 18k gold medium nib. Launched in the 1990s as Waterman’s flagship model, this discontinued pen is now a sought-after collector’s item. This particular example comes complete with its original box, papers, an unused converter, and two unused boxes of cartridges, previously owned by a collector. The box comes with the familiar flaking problem.
I received this pen in, what appears to be, unused condition. There was no sign of ink, the convertor appears to have been unused as does the two (included) boxes of cartridges. I did not know the owner personally, so I can not vouch for whether or not it was ever used.
